The thermal spa gardens of Giardini Poseidon Terme are home to 20 pools, with 17 thermal pools varying in temperature from 28°C to 40°C (4 located indoors), 3 sea-water pools of which 2 children’s heated pools and an Olympic pool.

The splendid spa gardens also feature a natural sauna carved from the cliffs, and a Japanese bath with alternate hot (40°C) and cold (15°C) paths of pebbled stones, designed to re-activate the lower joints and give a sense of general well-being.

A health and beauty centre offers a wide range of treatments, including massages and thermal mud treatments.

Visitors at the gardens have a choice of 3 restaurants, including the pleasant “La Grotta del Vino” meaning “Wine Grotto”, located inside an ancient cantina carved from the cliff-face.

Visitors can not only pamper and enjoy the healing thermal waters, but also enjoy the long, golden stretch of Citara beach.

Location: Giardini Poseidon Terme, situated in Forio in the splendid setting of Citara bay, one of the most picturesque areas of Ischia, is directly accessible by car, taxi or micro-taxi or a 15 minute walk from the nearby bus stop with services no.1 and CS running from Ischia Porto or no.1 and CD from Sant’Angelo/Forio, or bus service no.2 from Ischia Porto, no. 9 from Fontana, which stop by the gardens.
