Cavascura is situated at just 300m from the beach of Maronti in Sant’Angelo, accessible by a hot water stream.Carved from the cliffs, Cavascura represents an outdoor spa, with a series of grottos with small waterfalls and boiling springs reaching a temperature of 90°C, set in Mediterranean greenery of flowered broom flowers, chestnuts and oaks.
Visitors at Cavascura can enjoy thermal baths in touch with nature, featuring natural boiling showers and natural saunas and also a steam cave is used for inhalation therapies of the healing gases.
Mud treatments are also practised mixed with the hot thermal water which gushes from underneath the ground.
Cavascura is located in the bay of Maronti, accessible from the picturesque village of Sant’Angelo, situated at a short walking distance from nearby car parks and bus terminal of Cava Grado, where routes no. 1, CD and CS depart frequently from Ischia Porto.
