Al Convento, situated in the splendid setting of the Castello Aragonese in the historic quarter of Ischia Ponte, decorated in warm colours, enjoys a warm yet elegant atmosphere, with few tables located in an indoor and outdoor seating area on the terrace overlooking the sea and superb scenery of Ischia Ponte with the backdrop of the ancient castle.

The restaurant offers a delicious menu of ornately presented traditional yet creative Mediterranean dishes mainly based on fresh fish and seafood, brought in every morning by local fisherman. Specialities include the tasty mezzemaniche con vongole e carciofi; a short thick pasta served with clams and artichokes and l’astice in salsa agrodolce, crayfish served in a bittersweet sauce. All the dishes are accompanied with a large selection of Italian wines.

Al Convento situated in Ischia Ponte, is close to the centre and accessible by car, taxi or bus service no. 7 during the day only, as Ischia Ponte is closed off to traffic in the evenings, making it accessible only on foot, however there is a car park and bus stop just before the entrance of Ischia Ponte.
